A high-definition cinema platform has been developed in partnership with the area authority of the Département of Seine-Saint-Denis.

On 24 June 2005 Hervé Bramy, President of the Seine-Saint-Denis area authority, and Jacques Arlandis, Director of the Ecole Nationale Supérieure Louis-Lumière, signed a two-year agreement by which a subsidy was granted by the area authority to be invested in a High Definition Cinema Platform in Seine-Saint-Denis.

In 2005 the ENS Louis-Lumière used this subsidy to buy special effects equipment (an image processing station and software packages), and equipment for the projection room.

In 2006 the money will mainly be used to finance a nodal processor for the school, and to purchase post-production equipment.
