Comment former aujourd’hui des directeurs de la photographie de demain ?
La meilleure manière d’y répondre ne pouvait se faire sans l’avis des principaux intéressés.
C’est pourquoi, Pascal Lagriffoul, directeur de la photo (AFC), enseignant à l’Ecole, a réalisé un questionnaire ciblant le rapport des « chefs op » aux outils et à la technique.
Les réponses anonymes, nous permettront de faire un « portrait » collectif de la profession, de comprendre les avis et les attentes des Directeurs de la Photo en exercice sur leurs outils et leurs pratiques.
A travers ce débat, l'ENS Louis-Lumière souhaite échanger avec les professionnels présents à Camérimage, et les associer à cette réflexion.
Les débats seront initiés lors d’une table ronde animée par Pascal Lagriffoul et des directeur.trices de la photographie de l’AFC.
La table ronde sera précédée d’une projection d’extraits de films produits à l’école Louis Lumière.

Today, how do we train the directors of photography of tomorrow?
The most appropriate answer cannot be given without the opinion of those principally concerned.
It is why Pascal Lagriffoul, director of photography (AFC), teacher at the school, has made a questionnaire aimed at the rapport of the « DOP » to the tools and the technique.
The anonymous answers will allow us to make a collective « portrait » of the craft, and understand the views and expectations of directors of photography in activity on the tools and their usage.
Through this debate, ENS Louis-Lumière wishes to have an exchange with the professionals present at Camerimage, and integrate them in this reflection.
The discussions will be initiated at a round table moderated by Pascal Lagriffoul and the directors of photography of the AFC.
The round table will be preceded by a screening of excerpts of films produced at the Louis Lumière film school.
